Marc Reisman: The First 50 Years
October 26 at Thunderbird Music Hall (Pittsburgh) with Special Guests!
Marc Reisman celebrates The First 50 Years with Special Guests. As a member of the Houserockers, Reisman shared the stage many times with Bruce Springsteen, and he’s opened for such legends as Muddy Waters, Patti Smith, Ozzy Osbourne, Ian Hunter, J. Geils Band and Meatloaf. For several years, Reisman hosted a weekly late night radio show on WYEP-FM with his Houserockers brother Art Nardini. They shared the mic with guests such as the Ramones, Talking Heads, and The Police.
After Reisman departed the Houserockers, he taught blues harmonica for Pittsburgh folk music organizations and played and recorded with a number of artists, including Ernie Hawkins, Peter King and Jill West & Blues Attack. Currently, Reisman continues to play and record with a wide range of musicians performing original music, from rock to rhythm & blues to singer/songwriter and country. He played with Dan Bern in a Spanish tour booked by Lucinda Records in 2019.
Come see what Marc Reisman The First 50 Years is all about at the Thunderbird on October 26 as he performs with Billy Price, Bill Toms and Hard Rain, Ernie Hawkins, Peter King, Wil Kondrich, Jon Bindley’s Bindley Hardware Co., Melinda Colaizzi and The Night Sky, and Joe Grushecky and The Houserockers.
