Mighty Bombs, power-trío con base en Ginebra

Mighty Bombs es una banda de garage punk con sede en Ginebra, formada en 2015 por Onne Wan en guitarra y voz (Las Furias, The Trap, ex-Perras del Infiero, ex-Virüs), Lucy Cat en el bajo y coros, y Max en la batería (Dustbirds, The Last Brigade, Demon Vendetta).

Sus tendencias musicales abarcan la escena americana en un sentido amplio: Bikini Kill, MC5, Sonic Youth, L7, Dinosaur Jr, Distillers y la escena post punk británica, teniendo en mente entre otros a Warsaw y Siouxsie and the Banshees. Han pasado la mayor parte del tiempo trabajando y definiendo su sonido con una ejecución moderna y muscular mezclada con el calor de los amplis a válvulas; y ahora están concentrados en los directos y en el lanzamiento de su EP debut en formato vinilo 12″, ‘Not Of This Earth’ EP (Gps Prod Gva / Lucinda Records) previsto para abril de 2017.

Mighty Bombs is a garage punk band based in Geneva, formed in 2015. An energetic trio composed of Onne Wan on guitar and vocals (Las Furias, The Trap, ex-Perras del Infiero, ex-Virüs), Lucy Cat on bass and backing vocals and Max on drums (Dustbirds, The Last Brigade, Demon Vendetta).

Their musical influences are an endless story. We found ourselves amongst various genres, such as the American scene in a broad sense: Bikini Kill, MC5, Sonic Youth, L7, Dinosaur Jr, Distillers and the British post punk scene: having Warsaw and Siouxsie & the Banshees in mind. Their sound is a modern and muscular execution mixed with the heat of the lamp-amps. We also focus on playing concerts and on the release of our first EP vinyl 12 ” Not of this Earth EP, Gps Prod Gva and Lucinda Records Spain.
